The Sweater with Kathleen Dames | Season Three, Episode Eleven : The Block

Are you ready for a new sweater? How about some cables? You’re in luck! Today is the preview episode for Season Three of The Sweater with Kathleen Dames. We will be knitting Basic Cable over the course of 12 weeks. Well, you’ll be knitting Basic Cable, and I will be working on a new design, Premium Cable, which has some of the same elements (so I can show you what we are talking about) but with an extra kick. The Sweater with Kathleen Dames | Season Three, Episode Eleven : The Block

Blocking! Today I’m doing it with the help of my washing machine (I know - I’m the luckiest New Yorker to have a machine in my apartment!). I do believe that blocking takes your knitted item from homemade to handcrafted, so don’t skip this step.
